I Tried Homemade Tortillas

 ...and sailed into pillowy soft tortilla heaven.

This recipe was such a joy to make. I rarely enjoy kneading, but the mixture was not sticky and very playable, which made it fun. 

I broke out the cast iron skillet and prepared myself to get upset at a failed result. But, when I tell you how EASY the dough puffed up and flipped in the pan, I could not believe it. 

These tortillas are perfect for burritos, piling on some beans and veggies, or even falafels.
