I Tried Amping UP my Cabbage Side Dish

Cabbage can be so good when it soaks up some tasty broth in a soup or when it's slawed. But what else can you do with cabbage? Well, I got the inspo one night to try amp up some cabbage as a side dish. I surfed YouTube and came across this recipe:

Now this recipe had my mouth watering but it had way too many steps for me at the moment (I had the rest of dinner almost done). So using the video above as inspiration, I did some major tweaking to cut down on time and to use the ingredients I had. Basically, I've already made my own version of this dish 3 times! It is soooo good!

So here's the Aint Nobody Gat Time For That version:
You need:
large pan, spatula
ingredients:
cabbage
olive oil

  • Pasta sauce
  •  Poultry Seasoning (it's vegan)
  •   Curry Powder
  •     Nutritional Yeast
  •        Salt and Pepper
Step 1: Slice Cabbage into wedges and salt and pepper them.

Step 2: Cover the bottom of the pan with olive oil. Heat the oil in the pan. Add about a cup of sauce and mound your seasonings on top.
Step 3: Take a whisk and evenly spread the mixture. Then lay the cabbage wedges into the pan.
Step 4: Allow to cook for about ten minutes, then flip and cook for another ten.
Step 5: Add water and salt to taste (though you may not need to add anymore)
Step 6: Allow to cook down to your desired texture or softness covered with a lid.
