A Vegan's Pantry - Basically...

So, if I was to ask ten of the average omnivores for a pantry list, I'm pretty sure they would all have their own unique variations. Needless to say, this post is not declaring my pantry the king of all vegan pantries but, it may have what you need to make some pretty basic vegan meals.
So I've divided this list into three areas - the pantry, the seasoning cabinet, and the fridge. Enjoy.
Much luv!

The Pantry

beans (chickpeas, kidney, lentils, blackbeans)
rice (brown, jasmine and basmati are some faves)
potatoes
onions
garlic
pasta (a variety of noodle shapes are the spice of life)
flour (your choice, I like having wholewheat as an option though)
baking powder
ground flax (for smoothies and for the occasional flax egg)
vital wheat gluten

The Seasoning Cabinet

dry seasonings
sea salt
black pepper
garlic salt/powder (what's the difference?)
onion powder (love!)
curry powder
turmeric
nutritional yeast (yes please!)
thyme
oregano

I could go on, but let's keep the list basic.

wet seasonings
soy sauce
sesame oil
rice vinegar
agave (sweetener)

also - coconut oil or a veggie oil of choice for cooking
          olive oil for dressings

The Fridge

veggies
kale
romaine
tomatoes
cucumbers
zucchini
mushrooms (nomnomnom)
green and red peppers (or any color you like)

fruit
Your choice! Right now I have a huge watermelon in the fridge.

condiments

hot sauce
ketchup
mustard
barbeque sauce
veggie stock

Fin!
